Gregory Peck, Omar Sharif, Telly Savalas, Anthony Quayle, Julie Newmar star in MacKenna's Gold. Quincy Jones scored the film, Carl Foreman wrote the screenplay and produced.
 J. Lee Thompson directed.

Story:
Mackenna is a Marshal who knows the route to a legendary canyon of gold. On his journey he is captured by a Mexican bandit who forces him to lead him to the gold. Along the way they are joined by others who are greedy to find their new fortunes.



OBS played at the after show luncheon of the Royal Premiere of McKenna's Gold at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London. Among the attendees were her Royal Highness Princess Margaret and Omar Shariff.
