Elle Dawson - String Bass / Vocals
Elle is now based in the Croydon area and has played in many bands with many
styles including Folk, Country, Rock & Roll, Rock and Bluegrass.
She only took up the String Bass a few years ago and has excelled at her new
instrument even though it is considerably taller than her!
Elle is the stalwart member of the band, keeping that Rock & Roll bass riff
going through those Rockin’ Elvis songs.
She also contributes plenty of Bup Doo-ahs and Hot Bananas’ to the songs where
necessary.
Vis Campbell - Guitar and Elvis voice
Vis you may recognise from previous pictures, he used to live in America (where
there were numerous rumours of his untimely death)
but he has since settled in the Croydon area where he lives with his pet
dog Memphis.
Vis has appeared on TV and Radio and has released records in the States. His
distinctive voice has been quite a hit over the years
and in his HeyDay he was a groundbreaker in the Rock & Roll scene.
Jim Hartes - Drums/Piano
Occasional member of Elle and Vis’ full Rock and Roll band the Hot Bananas, Jim
plays the Snare and the Hi Hat.
He also plays an interesting range of other instruments including guitar, bass
guitar, fiddle, cello, flute and tin whistle!
Norman Cunningham - Guitar
Norman has been playing Elvis numbers for years and when Vis settled in the
Croydon area it was a good chance to play with
‘The King’ at last. Norman also plays with the Hot Bananas the full Elvis
Tribute Band.
Elle & Vis and the Hot Bananas (Elvis Tribute Band) are available
